When our Asian era ended in September 2002, we came to the U.K via a few weeks in Europe and kicked off with an initial few months attending to paperwork living for a while in London. This was only our first stop, planned to give us a base from which we could decide where to live next. Our research done, we moved to the Western port city of Bristol in March 2003 where we lived during 2004 and for most of 2005 before buying a house and moving to the nearby seaside town of Weston-Super-Mare. We were there during the UK's hottest-ever summer in 2006 (lucky us),  for its WETTEST-ever summer in 2007 (lucky....er...) and are STILL there in 2008.
